Day 5 - Healthy Living Plan

Day 5 of my healthy living plan and I started the day off good went to the gym and did 20 minutes on the treadmill and some weights.

I ate really well today, but I was naughty it was soooo hot I ended up having a few drinks! But 
just the recommended drinks my trainer Olga from Rapid Personal Training advised me to drink if I was to have a drink!  

Food:

Breakfast: Carmens Muesli with a dash of no fat milk, seeds and nuts, 1 x Skim Cappuccino + 1 sugar

Snack: 1 Red Apple
             
Lunch: Tomato & Onion Tuna served with Brown Rice

Snack: Very small piece of grilled chicken and steamed veggies

Dinner: Lime, Chilli & Mint Chicken skewers served  
Tzatziki & an Avocado & Mango salad 

Snack:
 Organic Popcorn

Naughties: 5 x Vodka & Tonic Water


Exercise:


20 minute fast walk on the treadmill, minimal weights at the gym

I drank water all day.

Day 4 - Healthy Living


Day 4 of my healthy living plan and I am feeling fabulous.  I had my first PT session today at 8:15 am and it was great! It wasn't too hard due to my myriad of injuries and aches and pains! My trainer Olga Bokalova from Rapid Personal Training is really lovely and she wants to start me slow with the training. She is making some changes to my diet as well. ( I need someone nice - I'm precious) :)

I also went to the Chiropractor, alot of issues to sort out, but I feel better already!

Check out today's diet! Yummo! 

Food:

Breakfast: Carmens Muesli with a dash of no fat milk, seeds and nuts, 1 x Skim Cappuccino + 1 sugar

Snack: 1 Green Apple
             
Lunch: 1 x 220g Grilled Steak served with green beans

Snack: 1 x peach

Dinner: 1 x Grilled home cooked Portuguese chicken breast served with steamed veggies


Snack:
 1 scoop of no fat vanilla ice cream, 3 x dried apricots

Naughties: 2 x No fat snakes



Exercise:
30 minute fast walk on the treadmill, minimal weights at the gym

I drank water and hot water with lemon all day.

Life is all about balance

If you hang out in bars, you drink too much alcohol! 
If you drink too much alcohol, your kidneys and liver will fail!
If you eat too many fatty foods you will end up fat!
If you stress too much, your hair will fall out!
If you don't exercise, you will end up with aches in pains!
If you take too many drugs, you will loose control of your mind!
If you smoke cigarettes, you will end up sick! 
If you roll with thugs, you end up in brawls! 
If you hate others, you will end up hating yourself!

If you drink more water, your skin will glow!
If you eat clean, your body will become lean!
If you meditate and breath slower, you will feel at peace!
If you exercise regularly, you will feel fit!
If you roll with successful people, you will become successful!
If you think positive thoughts, you will feel positive!
If you speak positive words, good things will happen!
If you help someone else, you will receive good things in return!
If you spread love, you will receive love in abundance!
Find the balance, do things in moderation, eat well, exercise daily, be positive, think positive, help others, surround yourself with people who encourage, support you & who are successful, respect and love your body! Give yourself the best opportunity at a GREAT life! Find love in yourself and give it to others! Happiness! :)

Day 3 - Healthy Living

Today is day 3 of my healthy living plan and I had my introduction Personal Training session today and my trainer Kris Cochrane from Rapid Personal Training says my goals are good because they are very specific and achievable! I am excited now.

Although, I had my first weigh in and could not believe I way 59 kilos the heaviest I have ever been in my life. 

So here is to healthy eating and changing my lifestyle!

Food:

Breakfast: Carmens Muesli with no fat yoghurt, dash of milk, dash of honey, passionfruit & berries & I x Skim Cappuccino

Snack: Seeds and nuts
             
Lunch: 1 x wholemeal beef wrap with salad and fresh coriander

Snack: 1 x small nectarine

Dinner: 2 x Skinless Grilled home cooked Portguese Chicken Legs served with steamed veggies


Snack:
 Seeds and Nuts


Naughties: 2 x No fat snakes





Exercise:
40 minute Zumba session at home

I drank water and hot water with lemon all day.

Day 2 - Healthy Living

So I am onto day 2 of my healthy living plan. I am enjoying eating well and getting some exercise in.

So here is how today panned out:

Food:


Breakfast: Carmens Muesli with no fat yoghurt, dash of milk, dash of honey & passionfruit
I x Skim Cappuccino

Snack: 1 handful of grapes
             4 small lychees


Lunch: 1 tuna & salad wholemeal wrap - tomato chilli tuna, lettuce, cucumber, tomato & coriander
Snack: 1 x small peach

Dinner: Left over s
teamed veggies served with beef cooked in onion, tomatoes, chilli, garlic & coriander

Snack:
 Seeds & Nuts


Naughties: 1 x Red frog, 2 x No fat snakes



Exercise:
Leg & stomach exercises in the swimming pool

It was way too hot to exercise outdoors today in Sydney and tomorrow I start my sessions with my personal trainer.

I drank water all day and hot water with lemon.

I am feeling a little lighter.

Day 1 - Healthy Living

Food:

Breakfast: Carmens Muesli with no fat yoghurt, dash of milk, dash of honey & passionfruit

I x Skim Cappuccino
3 small lychees

Lunch: Grilled Salmon served with Mango and Avocado Salad with a dash of balsamic vinegar

1 handful of grapes

Dinner: Steamed veggies served with beef cooked in onion, tomatoes, chilli, garlic & coriander

Exercise:
1 x Brisk walk at lunchtime
1 x Power walk in the evening

I drank water all day and will be drinking hot water with lemon tonight.

I will be removing the sugar content from my diet and exercising more - slowly buy surely!

I am enjoying this :)

2013 - Changing my lifestyle


I've always had to watch my weight and watch what I eat and drink! It's never been easy for me.. My sisters and brothers have better metabolisms than mine just like my father. I'm more like my mother.  

So the last 6 months due to constant neck pain, lack of exercise & eating and drinking things which contain way too much sugar I let go and am now 10 kilos heavier than I have ever been in my entire life and I constantly feel exhausted! 

So this month I begin my healthy eating & exercise campaign! Personal training session booked in Rapid Personal Training I am ready! :)

Here are my goals:

1. Drop 10 Kilos
2. Increase Energy levels
3. Increase fitness
4. Increase Strength
5. Muscle Toning
6. Healthier Eating

I will be publishing daily updates on my progress and eating plan on The Secret Life of Angel and I will include before during and after photos.
