NATIONAL YOUTH WEEK - Anthony Mundine awards the young people

It's National Youth Week (NYW) 2012 from Friday 13 April to Sunday 22 April 2012, with events running all over the country. The 2012 theme is Imagine. Create. Inspire. NYW is the largest celebration of young people in Australia. Thousands of young people aged 12–25 from across Australia get involved in NYW each year. NYW is an opportunity for young people to:

• share ideas
• attend live events
• have their voices heard on issues of concern to them
• showcase their talents
• celebrate their contribution to the community
• take part in competitions
• have fun

On Tuesday 17th April 2012 at Redfern Town Hall our Champion Boxer, Anthony Mundine will take time out to take part in the Annual Betty Makin Youth Awards ceremony and acknowledge young people who are making a difference in their local communities.
